Code Stone Dreamery is an NCWIT project in partnership with Santa Clara University. Evani Radiya-Dixit, a rising freshman at Stanford University, is the Program Leader. Dr. Ruth Davis, a Professor at Santa Clara University, is the Program Partner.

About Evani Radiya-Dixit

Evani is interested in the applications of mathematics and computer science to solve real world issues centered around education and medicine. She has had the opportunity to complete science research internships at Harvard Medical School and Stanford University, working to improve diagnosis and treatment of breast and lung cancer using computational methods. She has also been involved in Future Problem Solving, a program in which students brainstorm solutions for global issues such as trade barriers, water quality, and surveillance society. Evani leads Computing and Design Club as well as Feminism Club at her school, encouraging female participation in technology and discussions about social issues within our own community.

Dr. Davis, associate dean of undergraduate engineering, is dedicated to increasing the diversity of the engineering workforce, particularly to empower girls to enter STEM programs.
